Pictures Not Needed! |

Sasha, Kathleen Convery's Therapy Companion |
This is Sasha. She visits two classes of children with special needs,
the Head Start program in Swedesboro, and
Cardinal Village (an assisted living facility) in New Jersey. She is a sweet love who not only provides pet-therapy visits, but she also represents PAWS with her human, Kathleen Convery, at community events.
Sasha recently reminded me that not all therapy pets are able to take pictures when they visit.
For all of those teams who do not seem to have enough hands to take pictures when visiting, visit sites that do not allow pictures to be taken, or are so focused on their visits that taking pictures does not even cross your minds - THANK YOU! Although your visits go undocumented pictorially, your visits, love, and kindness do not go unseen!
Please share your stories, insights, and experiences with me so that I can share with our greater community! NO PICTURES NEEDED!
Thanks for the reminder, Sasha! And thank you to all of our teams for all you do!

"What greater gift than the love of a cat?"
|
This duo has been a PAWS team since 2012. Originally, they worked in Marilyn's ESL kindergarten classroom providing PAWS for Reading sessions, but since Marilyn's retirement, they are now all about PAWS in many different ways. The team volunteers at
Brader Elementary School, consistently serves as a substitute PAWS for Reading team at libraries, provides PAWS by Special Request visits, and participate in many different community events. While Molly Bear rests, Marilyn serves as a PAWS intake caller and a first visit assistant. What a great team!
