Harlan will talk about the first teaching kitchen operated by a medical school, which offers an innovative program teaching medical students about diet and lifestyle that bridges the gap between the basic sciences, clinical medicine, the community and culinary education.
February Academy Winter Site Meetings

The Academy supports the growth of schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy teachers through formal faculty development activities and by sponsoring educational seminars, mentoring, colloquia and retreats focused on graduate and undergraduate medical education. The Academy hosts annual site-based meetings for its members, and medical education colleagues are invited to attend. Register to attend  one of the site meetings below.

UCSF PIs Receive WGEA Small Grants
The WGEA small grants program provides limited funding to promote medical education research within the Western region.  UCSF had two outstanding proposals that were selected for 2016 funding cycle.
