Miami-Dade County to Conduct a Pilot Test at the Intersection of Old Cutler Road and SW 136th Street

PALMETTO BAY, FL, JANUARY 20, 2017 - In an effort to ease traffic flow in the area of SW 136 Street and Old Cutler Road, the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Woks will soon roll out a pilot test project that will temporarily restrict northbound left turns at this intersection.

The test is anticipated to start on Tuesday, January 31st and continue for no longer than 90 days.  The county will install temporary barricades, pavement markings and signage to prevent cars from turning left onto SW 136 Street from the northbound lane of Old Cutler Road.

Miami-Dade County also recently issued its own press release announcing this pilot program.  Read the County's press release here.
