Thru January 28, all day: LeClaire Community Library - Winter Reading BINGO. There is still time to stop in and sign up for Winter Reading BINGO! Each BINGO square contains a reading/library activity. Every BINGO will earn you an entry into a grand prize drawing! Cover the entire card for a Blackout BINGO to earn a special prize! Grand prizes will be awarded in every category: Family Reader, Independent Reader, Young Adult, and Adult. Thursday, January 19, 8pm: Blind Kitchen at Faithful Pilot. 3 Ingredients, 2 Chefs, 1 Hour to prepare at least 2 dishes. This monthly chefs' competition is back after a taking a short holiday break. Come watch two chefs throw down in Chef Robert Day's kitchen. Doors lock at 8pm. Friday, February 3, 5:30-8pm: First Friday in downtown LeClaire, IA. It might be February, but that doesn't slow us down - we celebrate First Friday every month of the year! Enjoy fun, food, live music, and shopping in downtown LeClaire! Shops open late and food and drink specials at bars and restaurants.

* LeClaire Olive Oil Co. is open late with olive oil and balsamic vinegar sampling.
* Mississippi River Distilling Company has deals in the retail shop and food and cocktail sampling. Cody Road Maple will be released. It is Cody Road Bourbon mixed with real Iowa maple syrup from Great River Maple in Garnavillo. The gang from Great River Maple will be there with barrel-aged maple syrup, too!
* Wide River Winery Tasting Room is open until 8pm.

Monday, February 6, 6pm: LeClaire Community Library -Color Me Calm. Coloring is NOT just for kids anymore! Adult coloring has been shown to decrease stress, aid in relaxation, exercise fine motor skills, and train the brain to focus! They will provide adult coloring pages and coloring utensils. Sunday, February 26, 12-4pm: Celebrate Buffalo Bill's birthday at the Buffalo Bill Museum, 199 N. Front Street. Buffalo Bill Cody was born February 26, 1848 in Scott County, Iowa. He was a Pony Express Rider and a civil war hero before starring in his own Wild West Show! Visit other exhibits such as: the Lone Star, a wooden hull steam powered paddle wheel, Native American artifacts, and exhibits featuring 1900's ladies' fashion, life on Mississippi, riverboat pilots, a 1939 Chris Craft speed boat, and many more fascinating displays.
