PARTNER SPOTLIGHT - ONE UNDER VANCOUVER
Centrally set in Vancouver's Financial District, One Under is a 5000 square foot urban golf club, eatery, and watering hole. The venue boasts six industry leading golf simulation bays, crafted cocktail bar, lounge, private party/meeting room and chef inspired menu.

As a Preferred Partner of the PGA of BC, One Under is pleased to offer 2 hours of simulator time, along with 2 pizzas and 4 local craft beers for the price of $125. At least one PGA of BC member must accompany the group, and must be able to present PGA of Canada membership card.

PGA OF BC NAMES 2016 AWARD RECIPIENTS
On Wednesday October 12, 2016 at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, the PGA of British Columbia recognized the proud achievements of its members at the 2016 PGA of BC Awards Celebration.
 
Eighteen awards were presented Wednesday night, preceded by a special presentation by the ALS Society of British Columbia. The PGA of BC has supported the Society for 11 years with its Golfathon for ALS fundraisers across the province, and has raised over $1.3 million for the duration of the program.

2016 PGA OF BC BUYING SHOW A SUCCESS
A huge thank you goes out to everyone that attended this year's PGA of BC Buying Show at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Over the two days, more than 140 facilities were in attendance, representing all corners of the province.
 
A special thank you goes out to the individuals who volunteered their time to ensure the event ran smoothly. Thank you to Brian Wise, Bill Kelly, Matt Palsenbarg, Graham Ogden, Oliver Tubb, Gord Mink, Matt Steinbach, Mark Kitts, Kate Weir, Matt Dunn, Greg Pool, and Cory Draper.
 
We would also like to thank our speakers for assisting with this year's newest addition to the Show, the education seminars. Thank you to Vanessa Salomons, Matt Steinbach and Jason Sigurdson.

2017 MEMBERSHIP DUES TO BE PAID BY NOVEMBER 1, 2016
Just a friendly reminder to all members that payment for 2017 PGA of Canada Membership dues must be received by the National Office no later than November 1st to avoid late fees.

As a note, members may request a full refund (minus any late fees) for their dues, should any changes occur, until April 1, 2017. If you anticipate any changes for 2017, the PGA of BC office recommends members to pay their dues prior to this deadline and contact the office should you have any special circumstances. Pay your dues online by logging into your account on the PGA of Canada website. 
BILL KELLY LEADS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
As of October 19, 2016, Bill Kelly (Glacier Greens Golf Course) leads the PGA of BC Professional Development Program presented by Sunice & Bobby Jones with 109 points.

Greg Pool (Capilano Golf & Country Club) sits five points back of the lead at 104 points, while Adam Blair (Talking Rock Golf Resort) rounds out the top three at 98 points. All point submissions must be received by November 30, 2016 at 4 PM to contribute to the 2016 Order of Merit points race.
