During a hot summer in 1954, in a cramped one-room machine shop in Augusta, Georgia, E-Z-GO® was born. Two brothers started with a simple belief that they could build a better golf car, that better met the needs of the customer, than any other vehicle then on the market.

Today, E-Z-GO vehicles are designed and manufactured by Textron Specialized Vehicles, a division of Textron Inc. that also manufactures commercial and industrial utility vehicles, recreational side-by-side UTVs, and ground support equipment for the aviation industry.

GREG POOL AND MATT DUNN LEAD PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
With only three months left until this year's PGA of BC Professional Development Program (PDP) presented by Sunice and Bobby Jones Golf Apparel winds down, Greg Pool (Capilano Golf & Country Club) and Matt Dunn (Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club) lead an extremely tight points race.

As of September 7, Pool and Dunn showcase their active involvement with 68 points each.  Bill Kelly (Glacier Greens Golf Course) sits only three points behind with 65 points, followed by  Adam Blair (Talking Rock Golf Resort) rounding out the top of leaderboard with 62 points.

A reminder that registration for the 2016 PGA of BC Buying Show,
October 12-13 at the Richmond Olympic Oval, closes in just one week.
The event format annually represents the largest gathering of PGA of BC members at British Columbia's premier golf merchandise buying show. 

Registration for Exhibitors will close at 4pm on Thursday September 15th. We regret to inform that no extensions will be granted for this deadline. Booth rates will remain affixed from 2013, with 10'x10's starting at only $1,350 for Association Sponsors and members of the CGIA, and $1,450 for all other exhibitors. REGISTRATION FOR CLUB PRO CHAMPIONSHIP CLOSES IN 2 WEEKS
Taking place September 26-27, 2016 at Quilchena Golf & Country Club, those interested in playing in the Cleveland Golf/Srixon Canada PGA of BC Club Professional Championship presented by Club Car are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Gordy Scutt (Olympic View Golf Club) for notching another win this season, this time at this week's VIPT event at Morningstar Golf Club. Scutt shot 5-under 67 to beat the trio of Kevin Maxwell (Olympic View Golf Club), Terrance Drader (Victoria Golf Club), and John Randle (Morningstar Golf Club) who sat 4 strokes behind at 71. For his win, Scutt took home the Champion cheque of $750.
