  • Discounts for infants (under the age of two) and children (under the age of twelve) are available on Yakutia Airlines' flights from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yakutsk. Infant and Child discounts vary depending on the class of travel and fare type. Please find information about discounts by clicking here.
  • One infant under two years of age can travel on the adult's lap not occupying a seat. Children over two years old are required to have their own seat.
  • In addition to your own free baggage allowance, the infant is entitled to one checked piece of baggage that must not exceed 115 cm (55×40×20). The maximum weight allowed for each checked bag for an infant is 10 kg (22 lb). The rule applies to all classes of services and fares.
  • Child Traveling with One Parent: If a child (under the age of 18) is traveling with only one parent or someone who is not a parent or legal guardian, please be advised to check the type of paperwork you need to have before traveling. TUFTED PUFFINS

Tufted puffins (Lunda cirrhata Pallas) are relatively large birds with a wingspan reaching 70 cm and weighing up to 920 grams. The prevailing color of the body plumage and wings is black with a reddish tint. The top is very bright: their large white heads are flattened at the sides and topped with two yellow bunches of feathers. Their flattened beaks are massive and red, as are their webbed feet. (The beak actually has a winter and summer phase, and it is only during the summer breeding phase that it is so massive and red.)

YAKUTIA AIRLINES LAUNCHES TWICE WEEKLY JAPAN-SAKHALIN SERVICE

Russian air carrier Yakutia Airlines now operates year-round twice-weekly scheduled service between Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (UUS) and Tokyo (Narita - NRT). The flights operate on Tuesdays and Fridays  utilizing Sukhoi Superjet aircraft configured with Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes of service. The airline inaugurated service on the route on May 1, 2016.
