Be a Good Neighbour,
Clear Your Walk
Be a good neighbour this winter by keeping your sidewalk clear of snow and ice. Your can help make sure that seniors, students walking to schools and bus stops, and other pedestrians have a safe path to travel in front of your home.
Make it a family event. Take 10 minutes and clear your sidewalk as soon as possible after a snowfall and apply salt to prevent slippery surfaces.

You can also help by offering to clear snow for older adults and people with disabilities in your neighbourhood.

The City of Mississauga clears sidewalks along major roads and other priority areas where there is access to hospitals, schools and transit. To see a map of these sidewalks, visit mississauga.ca/snow.
