We are preparing for the print 2017-2018 Chamber Business & Community Directory.  8,000 copies will be distributed throughout the community over the course of the year.  Member businesses should login to your account to verify all of your information is accurate. Forms were emailed and mailed (depending on your contact preference) the week of 1/9/16.  Please make any updates to your account by January 23, so your most current information is included.  If you cannot locate your login info, download the Member Update Form  and return to the Chamber by fax at 475-0910 or by  email.

The Cue Theatre has found a new home! They are now located at the Delmar First United Methodist Church at 428 Kenwood Avenue. Aladdin, Jr. auditions will be held on January 30-31. Bethlehem Opportunity Unlimited's
(BOU) 5th Annual Community Spelling Bee will be Thursday, March 2Help make it a success! This once-a-year fundraiser helps provide grants to student activities such as:  Girls Night Out BCHS,  Custome Ball BCMS,  Bethlehem Youth Court,  Senior Celebration,  Survivor Day and  After School program for Special Needs Students.  Funds raised also allow BOU to host the Annual Talking with your Teens forum and Life After BC discussion. Grassroot Givers has  started a book drive through You Give Goods to help them collect children's books to share with local kids in need. This online drive will be last for 100 days and is scheduled to end on April 29, the same day as our Little Free Library Walkathon, which is being organized in partnership with the Tulip Queen. All books donated to Grassroot Givers directly benefit local people in need, including local schools and literacy programs. Due to budget constraints, the Social Security Adminstration (SSA) is suspending mailings of paper Social Security Statements to workers under the age of 60. They will continue mailing Statements to those 60 and over who do not have a my Social Security online account and are not receiving Social Security benefits. To access your Statement, visit the SSA website and select My Social Security Account to set up an online account.




The Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau Fund was established to support Albany County's hospitality industry by funding programs that will help build and sustain Albany County tourism destinations, attractions and events and bring more visitors to the County. The grant range is between $1,000 and $5,000. The grant application is due on September 14, 2017.

Joe Ferrannini of Grave Stone Matters is the speaker for the Bethlehem Historical Association's January 19 meeting. Ferrannini is an expert on cemetery preservation and the conservation of stone monuments. He will share his passion for the history to be found in cemeteries. The lecture takes place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 19 at the Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Avenue, Delmar. Free and open to the public with refreshments to follow the talk.
