NEWBURYPORT ART ASSOCIATION
 
The Newburyport Art Association was founded in 1948 and its mission is three-pronged:  exhibition, education, community outreach.  The NAA has 600 members from across the region and promotes and exhibits art by members and non-members; provides art education for all ages and skill levels; and keeps the visual arts accessible for students in local schools and special needs adults. The NAA welcomes non-artist members.

The new Range Lights Community Sculpture Garden and the ongoing campaign for the NAA Education Center are vivid examples of the energy and ongoing contributions of the NAA. Galleries are available for private and corporate event rentals.

Beach Plum Flower Shop
  
Happy New Year!

I just wanted to send you and your colleagues at the Chamber a note of gratitude.
 
Our shop, Beach Plum Flower Shop, in The Tannery, sponsored an evening Chamber Mixer in November.  My team and I wanted it to be an extra special event as we had just completed updating the interior, as well as increasing our amazing floral design offerings to our shop.  
 
We invested quite a bit of time and funds for the Chamber Mixer, wanting to make it a fun, enjoyable and perfect evening for all.  Joe Carson's voice with Acoustic guitar carried throughout the warm evening in The Tannery.  Delicious food and wine from the local Mill River Winery and Got Thyme Catering/our local Domino's pizza invited the member to stay for a while.
 
Our flowers were exceptional and the aura of the flower shop lifted everyone's spirits as the entire shop filled with attendees.  People mingled and laughed and danced.  One of the signs of true success for this event was "Dancing in the Beach Plum Flower Shop."  Memories  were impressed upon us all.  We are grateful for this experience, for we not only began to network, but to actually connect with others.  Our connection has also translated a complete return on our investment, and most importantly relationships with exceptional people.  Over the Holiday...
