BEE PHILLIPS
Bee Phillips
In 2003, Bee was in need of change.
At 5' 4" and 205 pounds Bee was at risk for Type 2 Diabetes. She began walking to improve her health and one day she walked into a yoga studio and has been hooked ever since. Bee's life began to transform and she fell in love with both yoga and working out. She lost over 70 pounds. Today Bee is a Crossfitter, an Alumni Run Ambassador for Lululemon, and a Yogini, and in addition Bee is also a certified Psych-K and Reiki Practitioner. She found that yoga and meditation strengthened her mind-body connection and improved her overall fitness and well-being. By living the path of yoga, Bee discovered a deeper compassion for others and a greater sense of community and connection.

Bee will always be a student of the practice and is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom her teachers have shared with her.

Caron Christison

CARON
CHRISTISON
Caron began practicing yoga shortly after she moved to Macon, Ga in early 2013 in hopes of meeting new people and finding motivation to stay in shape. She showed up to her first yoga class having no idea what to expect - she had no concept of what yoga really was and how it would change her life. Though she was immediately hooked by the physical challenge of the practice and started attending classes regularly, it wasn't until she began to find a deeper mental awareness that she truly fell in love. Yoga helped her to build strength from the inside out and she found the real connection she was looking for - with her true self.

Caron felt inspired to share her passion with others and shortly after beginning her own yoga journey, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Red Hot Yoga in Atlanta in 2014 and has been teaching regularly ever since. She helps her students connect with the lessons, emotions and struggles on their mats and how they can translate so literally into their lives. Her teaching style is a balance of fast-paced, high-energy power and a calming reassurance. She reminds students to be patient, be in the present moment, work with where they are each day, be kind and nonjudgmental towards themselves, and let things happen in their own time while also finding their edge and moving past it.

HANK MARGESON
Hank Margeson
Hank's yoga odyssey began in 2005 at the edge of a Mexican jungle when, on vacation, he unrolled a yoga mat overlooking the Caribbean and rediscovered a passion that altered his life's quest.

Since, his yoga practice has been nurtured and fueled through workshops, practices, and ongoing research. "There is always more to be revealed, no matter how much one seeks". Certified Pranakriya Yoga, 2011, under Yoganand Michael Carrol, in the Kripalu tradition, he has advanced trainings in Pranayama, Meditation, Spiritual Path of Yoga, and Asana. Hank has taught over 1000 classes.

Hank's classes fuse an energetic vinyasa flow, with pranayama and meditation. They are lively and fun, mixing storytelling and music, emphasizing smooth transitions between postures, and linking movement to breathwork. He feels each class is a challenge to create a thoughtful and relevant experience that resonates in a harmonious balance with mind, body, and spirit.

Before yoga Hank was a photography professor and commercial artist. He lives in East Atlanta Village with his wife Noelle Petersen.

Emma Alley

EMMA ALLEY
Emma's approach to yoga emphasizes the balance of exertion and release, empowering students to both expand and deepen their practice. She sees yoga as a tool for transforming the body, mind, and spirit. The intention of her class is to create a sacred space where the practice moves from the inside out, allowing for authentic exploration of the body. With a focus on breath, energetic awareness, and alignment, this mindful yoga practice uses movement as a gateway to inner stillness.

A rich background in the study of movement compliments the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Emma received at Sacred Thread Yoga in Atlanta, GA. She acquired her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance at Florida State University, where she was educated in traditional dance techniques as well as conditioning/healing systems such as Pilates, GAGA, and Gyrokinesis. Emma's passion for spreading awareness of the healing power of movement is what drives her to teach yoga. Her mission is to enable students to find harmony within themselves, and, consequently, greater peace and connection with the external world.

A Note from Mandy
Mandy Roberts
As we countdown to the final days in our current studio I am filled with so much gratitude for each and every student that has ever walked through our doors. Your dedication and support through this move has been humbling. There have been moments when I tear up because I feel your love so deeply, thank you.

FORM yoga was built after my life fell apart. She was the Phoenix that resurrected from despair. I needed a home, a safe place to gather with complete love and acceptance, this is something I couldn't find in the local yoga scene. I needed a place where I could show up exactly how I was and feel welcome and held, a home. Our growth over these past few years has shown me that you too needed this space.

I am excited that our new home is even better equipped to be the container that can hold us all, a gathering space, a place of acceptance, encouragement and community.

As I look out into the horizon I see our future is bright. Thank you for trusting us to be your yoga home, I simply can't wait to share this new space with you!
