Mexico Mission Trip Interest Meeting

Sunday, December 17 | 9:15-10:15 AM

High school students and adults from the Student Families community are invited to this informational meeting during the Sunday school hour in CLC-5. Youth staff Stewart Neely and Pedro Pollorena will talk about the mission trip to Mexico that will be on July 21-28, 2018.

 

Christmas Poinsettias

Help beautify our worship center for Christmas by ordering a poinsettia in memory of or in honor of a loved one. The poinsettias will be displayed throughout December. Order forms will be in the worship folder until December 17. To order, enclose $10 per plant (payable to Christ Covenant Church) along with your designation in an envelope marked "Poinsettias." You may put it in the offering bag, bring it to the church office, or mail it to the church Operations Department, Attention: Jill Joyner. Also, you can email Jill at [email protected] . The deadline to order is Sunday, December 17. You may pick up your poinsettia after worship on Christmas Eve.

 

 

Christmas Eve Worship

Sunday, December 24 | 6 PM

On Sunday, December 24, at 6 PM, we will celebrate as one church body at a family-friendly Christmas Eve candlelight worship service. Childcare will be available for children 4 months - 2 years. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming all of our guests to celebrate the birth of Christ and the gift of salvation in Him alone. (We will not have communion at this service.)

     Our Christmas Eve special offering will help support the PCA's Ministerial Relief fund. These gifts will help assist needy retired and disabled pastors, missionaries, church lay workers, their widows and dependent children.

     We will also have a regular Sunday morning worship service at 10:45 AM. There will not be Sunday Bible School on December 24 or on December 31.

Paid Childcare Workers Needed

Part-time employment opportunities are currently available at Christ Covenant Church for childcare providers. The pay is $10 per hour with a 2-hour minimum. The current need is for Tuesday mornings from 9:30 AM - 12:15 PM.  Other days and times are occasionally available. Our December ProjectSHARE collection is for Changed Choices. This organization provides support to women who are incarcerated as well as women who are transitioning back into society. We are collecting paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates/cups), full size personal hygiene items, greeting card envelopes, and USB flash drives.
