MOVIE DESCRIPTION:
Storks have moved on from delivering babies to packages. But when an order for a baby appears, the best delivery stork must scramble to fix the error by delivering the baby.

WHEN:  January 20th @ 6 pm
WHERE:  The Stillwater Gym
COST:  A new or gently used stuffed animal or $1

Bring blankets, pillows, and extra money for the snack bar!  
YMCA Enrichment Classes Coming in January
We are thrilled to have the YMCA back for a winter session full of a wide variety of classes - Fun with Clay & Sculpting, Exploring the World of Science, and Dodgeball!
Classes will begin the week of January 31 and run through March 14.

Kinship Support Group
The Sno-Valley Senior Center is partnering with Encompass to provide our area with a Kinship Support Group.  This group is for relatives (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc) who are raising a familial child. The meeting is also open to foster parents; and will be a welcoming place to get support and resources.  Meetings will be held the 3
rd Tuesday of the month, beginning January 17 th

RIVERVIEW EDUCATION FOUNDATION would like to invite you to the

Evening for Education
Dinner Auction. 

Saturday, February 25 th, 5:30-10pm, at our new location, the spacious and elegant Bellevue Marriott.
 
Enjoy a delicious dinner, exciting silent and live auctions, games, giveaways, and the company of others who value education as you do.
 
The Foundation is an integral partner with the Riverview School District providing many grants to Stillwater Elementary as well as every other school in the district.  Every child in the district has access to items purchased with REF grant funding. Grants are awarded in the areas of Technology, Science, Language, Health and Wellness, Career and Technical Education, Math, Visual and Performing Arts, Student services and more. Your attendance at this event will help sustain this important work.

Upcoming Field Trips
As we head into 2017, we have quite a few amazing field trips scheduled for our students. Currently scheduled are the following (with more to come):

5th Grade:  
  • Camp Waskowitz - May 9-12 - $195 (or less depending on funds that were raised with Otis Spunkmeyer)

4th Grade:
  • Oxbow Farms - May 3 - $0
  • Pacific Marine Research - May 24 - $40
3rd Grade:
  • Blake Island - Date & Cost TBD

2nd Grade:
  • Storybook Theatre - March 9 - $10

1st Grade:
  • Seattle Aquarium - June 1 - $11

Kindergarten:
  • Storybook Theatre - March 9 - $10
There will be more scheduled but for now, this is what we have on our calendar.  The good news is that these field trip fees are already on your student's Family Access/Efunds account and can be paid for now in partial or whole payments.  Click HERE to register or log in to get this process started.
