Greetings World Cup Parents,

Happy New Year!

On December 16-17, the World Cup Gymnastics Competitive Girls Team traveled to their first away meet of the season, the 2016 Solstice Invitational. Hosted at the YWCA White Plains, home of the Tumblettes, World Cup held their own and won 1st places in every level of competition!   Congratulations to everyone who participated! See below for results!

IMPORTANT! UPCOMING CLOSURE!
On Monday, January 16th, there will be NO CLASSES at World Cup Gymnastics.
We will be running our DREAM BIG Special Day, and then hosting a Mock Meet for our Girls Team.

GIRLS TEAM - 1st PLACE CHAMPIONS
LEVEL THREE:Sasha Goldman (FX), Grace McCullough (BB & AA), Senika Manchanda (VT), Nia Sands (UB, BB, FX, & AA), Giordana Zimberg (VT), and Natalie Attia (UB).
LEVEL FOUR:  Ava DiCaprio (FX), Sofia Gisbert (BB).
LEVEL FIVE:  Lauren Quintiere (VT, UB, & AA), Casey Treanor (VT).
LEVEL SIX:  Natalie Calman (UB, FX, & AA), Emmy Juenger (VT), Erin Panker (BB).
LEVEL SEVEN:  Talia Fritzhand (VT), Madison Higgins (VT & AA), Georgia Kiriakou (UB).
LEVEL EIGHT:  Aubree Glover (VT), Katie Colella (UB).


Level 3 and Level 6 both took home their respective 1st Place Team Awards.
Level 6 has now won 1st Place Team in both of their meets so far, and has set a goal as a group to win this coveted award at every meet of the season!

The Girls Team will have a Mock Meet on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and then a handful of gymnasts will travel to Orlando, FL to participate in the Sand Dollar Invitational hosted by ESPN Wide World of Sports! Good Luck!
BOYS TEAM - 1st PLACE CHAMPIONS
On January 7-8, the World Cup Gymnastics Competitive Boys Team traveled to their very first meet of the season, the 2016 New York Invitational.  Hosted at Long Island City High School, World Cup had a great showing at their season opener!

LEVEL FOUR:  Gabriel Zybert (FX, PH, SR, VT, PB, HB & AA), Charles Martin (FX).
LEVEL FIVE: Albert Sturhahn (HB).
LEVEL SIX:  Simon Grogan (PB).
LEVEL SEVEN:  Eli Osuna (FX, PH, & AA).
LEVEL NINE:  JT Basulto (FX), John Zakrewski (VT), Connor Gallagher (PH, SR, HB, & AA), Ettore Panzanaro (VT & PB).
LEVEL TEN:  Miles Miller (FX, PH, SR, VT, PB, HB & AA).

Level 9 and Level 10 both took home their respective 1st Place Team Awards.
The Boys Team gets ready to hit the road once again as they prepare for the
2017 West Point Open this weekend! Good Luck!
KIDS NIGHT OUT

January 14th: Pajama Party!
January 28th: "Wood"en't You Like To Have Some Fun?!
February 4th: Super Bowl Party!
February 11th: Valentine's Day Party!

*Kids' Night Out runs from 6-10pm and is offered for kids ages 3+ (must be potty trained!)  Be sure to call us at (914)-238-4967 to register before space runs out and to ensure we are properly staffed!

KIDS DAY OUT

We will have a special Kids Day Out on Sunday January 15th from 1:00-4:00.
It's for kids ages 5-12 and the theme is Winter Wonderland.  There will be gym games, a snowflake craft project and snacks.

Join us for this awesome Special Day at World Cup!
Monday, Jan. 16, 2017(Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
Half Day: 9:30 - 12:30 pm
Full Day: 9:30 - 2:30 pm

We will create beautiful heart-shaped dream catchers with feathers, beads and yarn.  Brown Sugar Blondies will be delicious to eat, and fun to make.  Everyone will get a chance to challenge themselves with a "dreamy" word-find.  Toss in gymnastics and games, and a kid-friendly movie in the afternoon, and what's not to love?  Sign up soon!
