My Baby & Me Spotlight
Each month, we will highlight the wonderful work being done through our My Baby & Me Program's Pregnancy Educator, Rebecca.

January Spotlight:
Participants report the following situations as being the top triggers when feeling tempted to drink alcohol during pregnancy:
  1. Feeling stressed
  2. Being around others drinking
  3. Attending celebrations/parties
Rebecca works with each participant to identify strategies for coping with their unique situation(s).

"I like the support and help. It was nice to have someone to talk to about my problem."

Journaling in the New Year

This time of year, as we say farewell to 2016 and usher in 2017, many of us find ourselves reflecting. Maybe this was one of the best years yet, or maybe this was one of those years that seemed to last forever. Either way, it's important to reflect on the months past to help cherish the good times and let go of the not-so-good ones.

This month's exercise is all about remembering and forgetting. If you have an end-of-the-year ritual already, it would make a great addition. If you haven't done something like this in the past, it's a great time to start!

So grab your hot beverage, comfy blanket, pen, and let's get writing!
