Know Your Obligations for Professional Liability Insurance - It's the Law

In December, the College contacted more than 3,400 OTs who, according to College records, had expired insurance policies.

Professional liability insurance is not optional - the law requires it.

Failure to keep your information up-to-date may be considered professional misconduct. Learn what you are required to update

Please be aware the following circumstances do not remove your professional obligation and will result in action from the College: forgetting to renew your insurance, renewing your insurance late, not purchasing insurance because you are not employed or on leave.

If you are ever unsure about your obligations, please contact [email protected]
