"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January Pro Bono Matters
In honor of Dr. King, thank you for answering what he described as "life's most persistent and urgent question: 'What are you doing for others?'"  Our Annual Fund Campaign in 2016 added an additional $720,000 worth of free civil legal aid for the Orange County community. In 2017, our Board of Directors and Executive Committee look forward to working with you to ensure access to justice in Orange County and provide meaningful pro bono opportunities to our 1,500 volunteers.

2016 Annual Fund Recap

2016 marked PLC's 35th year of service to Orange County. You and all of our amazing supporters honored us with life-changing pro bono services for our clients and a record-breaking Volunteers for Justice Dinner. As our 35th year came to a close, nearly 100 people helped raise an additional $90,000 for our Annual Fund. At PLC, each dollar raised creates eight dollars worth of legal services, so thank you for adding $720,000 worth of additional legal aid for our most vulnerable and needy neighbors.

We want to acknowledge PLC's Board of Directors for their amazing personal contributions which accounted for $65,000 of our Annual Fund total. We especially want to thank Aaron Malo for his historic matching gift of $19,000 on #GivingTuesday. We also want to thank the following non-board member donors who all gave $1,000 or more: Ed Connor, John Hurlbut, Jr., Lawrence Cohn, Joel & Nikki Miliband, Linda Schilling, Andra Greene, Shelley Liberto, Carlo Sarmiento, and Jason Steiner.

It's never too late to add your support, so click here to donate to PLC.
