 CONTEMPLATIVE LANDSCAPES

January 13 – February 26, 2017

Polly Addison Gallery, Dairy Arts Center

Exhibition Reception: Friday, January 27, 5:00-7:00pm

Art is a vehicle for exploring the exterior and interior landscape of our existence on this planet.

Viewing the world from a meditative practice, Suzanne Frazier calls herself a Contemplative Artist. She invites the viewer into her collected emotional responses from years residing in the Colorado Mountains. Using images that are familiar from the environment to express in a nonverbal manner her life experience, she invites the viewer to gaze, without labels, into her shared
contemplation.

To Suzanne, contemplative art is the product of creative expression rising from the pure joy of creating, grounded in a meditative connection to the radiance and perfection of spirit known only through one’s experience of being fully human.
