The Children's Department is ringing in the New Year with a NEW series of programs! The fall session of storytime has come to a close and the winter/spring session begins Monday, January 23rd.

What's happening in the meantime? Nicole Giroux, Head of Children's Services and Certified ChildLight Yoga Instructor, will be offering a series of children's yoga classes for four age groups: babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. This is a perfect opportunity for children to try something new!

For the full schedule of yoga classes at the Library, as well as class descriptions and age guidelines, check out our Children's Events Calendar or read Nicole's blog. After School Yoga requires registration but all other classes are drop-in. If you cannot attend any classes in January but are interested in more of this type of programming, or if you have questions or feedback, please contact Nicole a [email protected]. Your feedback will assist with planning future yoga classes at CPL!

Upgraded Play Area
The Children's Department at CPL recognizes the importance and value of play in children's learning and development. We are so happy to have a vibrant play area for our young patrons to use during their visits! We were recently able to purchase some wonderful new toys with a generous donation from the Chelmsford Friends of the Library. The Children's Department is so grateful for the Friends and their continued support!  Come on down and play with us!

There are many more programs happening here at CPL, see our full online calendar for more fun programs!
