A Wilder View - Opening reception
featuring new images by Photographer Bruce Wilder.
GiftsInnBoonsboro
16 N Main Street, Boonsboro, Maryland
Friday, April 15, 2016 at 6 PM - 8 PM
Bruce Wilder, a photographer who works in both film and digital, picked up his first camera at the age of twelve. Within a decade, he began processing his own negatives and prints. While black and white photography launched his passion, the digital medium expanded his vision, allowing him to produce art images in color.

Now merging technology and art, Mr. Wilder has explored HDR. High Dynamic Range imagery enables him to create photographs with a greater dynamic range by combining several images of different exposures.
Mr. Wilder believes the artist's choice defines his potential. He embraces the diversity of photographic art, its endless possibilities whether dramatic black and white, dreamy monochrome, brilliant color or visions enhanced with creative digital manipulation.

And Then There Were None

The Potomac Playmakers present the classic Agatha Christie murder mystery, "And Then There Were None"! Ten guilty strangers are trapped on an island.  One by one, they are accused of murder; one by one they start to die.  In this superlative mystery comedy, statuettes of little soldier boys on the mantle of a house on an island off the coast of Devon fall to the floor and break one by one as those in the house succumb to a diabolical avenger.  A nursery rhyme tells how each of the ten "soldiers" met his death until there were none.  Eight guests who have never met each other or their apparently absent host and hostess are lured to the island and, along with the two house servants, marooned.  A mysterious voice accuses each of having gotten away with murder and then one drops dead - poisoned!  One down and nine to go!  The excitement never lets up in this compelling mystery!

Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. and directed by Wanda Dittman, "And Then There Were None" stars Gerry McCarney, Barbara Huwe, Al Gardner, Barbara McCormick, Tod Williams, Jim Zuna, Barry Harbaugh, Nic Sigman, Jayn Stewart, Greg Berezuk, and Tom Doty.  "And Then There Were None" runs May 13-15, 2016 at The Women's Club, located at 31 S. Prospect Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740. The Friday and Saturday shows start at 8:00 pm, while the Sunday matinee starts at 3:00 pm! Ten dollar advance tickets are available ONLINE ONLY at
www.potomacplaymakers.org , and twelve dollar tickets will be available at the door.
