2 016: A Great Year #DeliveringGood
Dear Friends:

2016 has been an exceptional year for K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, as we are well on our way to a record amount of product donated and distributed around the U.S. and abroad -- over $160 million worth! As the year ends, we connect with our community of supporters and share the successes of the last 12 months. Your gifts enable us to carry out this mission of providing essential items to those in need. We appreciate your 2016 donations by midnight on Saturday, December 31 (click the button below), and wish you and yours a bright 2017. Thank you.

Best Wishes,

Lisa D. Gurwitch
President & CEO

P.S. To those who have already made a donation of product or cash, you have our gratitude.

Loyalty Circle Donor of the Quarter: Dona Bela Shreds
The K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers Loyalty Circle celebrates and recognizes friends who have provided critical financial support to  K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers  for at least two consecutive years.  Allison Davidson Motoyama of Dona Bela Shreds has been a  loyal supporter of K.I.D.S./ Fashion Delivers for the past two years.

"We were really impressed with K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers and the mission it stands behind," said Motoyama. "By providing new products to individuals, children and families in need, it aims to propel people forward with an added sense of dignity. It's admirable that so many brands can partner together for a great cause, and Dona Bela Shreds is proud to be a part of the mission.  Dona Bela Shreds is both a financial and product donor to K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, and it has been very rewarding to see the positive impact on the recipients."

Celebrating 10 Years of Donating Coats to Help People in Need

We are excited to celebrate  10 years of the Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive, donating new and gently used coats to people in need across the country.  Our partnership with  Burlington Stores  and  Good Morning America  has enabled the program to deliver approximately 1.6 million coats over the last 10 years through a network of community partners. Since the launch of this year's program on November 14th, a total of 87,159 coats have been donated.

Watch a great story from our partner  Good Morning America about Max Frost, a 9-year-old boy from New Jersey who is supporting the Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive.   Click here to watch the video on GMA's website.

K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers Disaster Relief Efforts

2016 has been a busy year for our disaster relief efforts, with our support for the Baton Rouge, LA area in the early fall, followed by donations sent to Hurricane Matthew victims in Haiti, Florida, Georgia, and North and South Carolina. For our response in Baton Rouge, we were able to replicate the help we provided last year to Columbia, SC. We worked with the Urban League of Louisiana and State Representative Edward James to set up a free pop-up store in a vacant retail space at a local mall.  Click here to see pictures from the pop-up shop.  Y our continued support is still needed for the flood and storm communities, as well as for our ongoing disaster efforts:  Donate Here.
Product Donor of the Quarter: United Legwear & Apparel Co.
United Legwear staff distributing socks in Harlem, NYC.
Thank you to United Legwear & Apparel Co., a longstanding supporter and product donor to
K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers! The company, founded in 1998 by Isaac E. Ash, is a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of legwear, apparel and accessories. A strong advocate of our mission to help people in need, United Legwear & Apparel Co. has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in product donations.

Understanding that giving to others in need should be an initiative throughout the year, Isaac Ash is the catalyst behind the  One Million Pairs of Socks Campaign.  K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers and the American Apparel and Footwear Association  teamed up on a program to secure  one million  pairs of socks for the nation's homeless and poor beginning on  October 15, 2016 -- World Homeless Day.

Throughout the course of the campaign, the socks collected will be distributed through the K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers network of community partners to individuals without a home or access to clean, new clothing. Follow our campaign's progress online at www.OneMillionPairs.org and see a growing list of companies that have donated socks.  Click here to see a photo album   of our most recent distribution event .
