ACA/NE Awards First Scholarship

At the December 6th Annual Meeting, the first ACA/NE scholarship was awarded to Katarina Bernash, who currently works for Hurley & David, an HVAC company located in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Katarina will attend Western New England University and plans to work in the accounting department at Hurley & David upon graduation.

The ACA/NE scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students who have decided to pursue an educational path and career in the HVAC industry.

The scholarship may be used at any accredited university, college, technical, or post- secondary vocational school.

ACA/NE scholarships are offered each year in the amount of $1,000. Funds are raised at the ACA/NE Golf Tournament, networking dinner meetings, as well as other fund-raising activities.

HVAC Technical and Management Conference

February 28, 2017

Sheraton Tara Hotel | Framingham, MA | 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

The conference will feature two tracks -- one specifically designed for HVAC owners and managers and the other for HVAC technicians. This conference will include workshops for technicians, office and sales staff, owners and operators, and the chance for vendors to promote their products and services and network with industry leaders.

The technicians training sessions will include:

Ventilation
AC Check Refresher Training
Mini Split Heat Pump Quality Installations

The management sessions will include:

Storytelling in Business: How to Motivate, Inform & Inspire
Training To Turbocharge Your Technicians
Self Generating Leads for HVAC Sales People

Contractor Fees:

Members:

First attendee = $100 per person

Additional attendees = $75 per person

Non Members:
Per Person = $200

Sponsorship and Tabletop Exhibitor Fees:

The $400 sponsorship fee includes the six-foot draped tabletop, sponsor sign, plus breakfast and lunch for two people. In addition, sponsor attendees can attend any of the technical or management sessions.

Additional sponsor attendees can register for $75 per person.
