Holy Conversations
We are preparing to move into our second round of Holy Conversations as part of the As For Me & My House Visioning Process. This next conversation will focus on the question, Who is our neighbor?

You can sign up to be a part of the Conversation by clicking  here.

As For Me & My House is a six-month visioning process undertaken by the people of Aledo United Methodist Church to prepare us to follow God's call into the future. In many ways, we stand at a crossroads as a community of faith. Our community is projected to grow at an unprecedented rate in the coming years, and we want to grow with it. For that to happen, we need to be prepared and to plan strategically to move boldly into the future. But it's not just about getting bigger. The future -- our future -- has to be about following God's call and becoming who God is calling us to be.

Your voice needs to be heard!

Half Truths by Adam Hamilton
Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m., Room 207
Have you ever used, "Everything happens for a reason" or "Love the sinner, hate the sin"? They are simple phrases that even sound like something you might find in the Bible. They capture some element of truth, yet they miss the point in important ways. Come join us as we search for the whole truth by comparing common Christian clichés to the message and ministry of Jesus.
