Winnie's Corner

Winnie
Meow...

Nothing like a new Christmas Toy to get a crazy cat chasing into the New Year!

Infused with fresh aroma of virgin catnip, the object of my attention has a pulsating red light and buzzer built into a shapely mouse like figure and is attached to a string at the end of a small, flexible, plastic tube. It is the ultimate feline fantasy. I must have it. Now!

I'm nearly breathless in anticipation before attacking my nemesis with an ardor unseen since kitten hood (or at least since my last early morning scurry). Now my human has the audacity to hold it so the new toy is just out of my reach. I'll get even with her just as soon as I stop jumping and twisting...

Special note to cat owners:

While Winnie is off chasing her new toy (cat attention spans only last for food), she asked me to tell her friends how sad she is to learn about the passing of one of Winn's and Winnie's dearest friends, Fred Jacobberger. Fred was the first to recommend Winn Feline Foundation adopt a mascot and wholeheartedly endorsed the selection of Winnie. His leadership, friendship and compassion for cats will be missed.
