Do you remember your middle school years? If you were like most, so much in your world changed between the ages of 12-14. Today's young people have even much more to deal with than any of us ever had to. Want to have an impact on young lives? If so, we are excited to invite you to participate in our first SWOT of the new year on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on behalf of CROP Ministries (www.CROPministries.org).
Many parents today are challenged with raising a Christian teen in a post-Christian culture. How does a parent pass on their values, while helping them learn to make good life decisions based on Biblical precepts? The answer is CROP, which is a Christian Rite Of Passage that is designed for families of middle school aged teens. Imagine the tradition of a Jewish Bar Mitzvah, but for Christians. CROP is a parent-led curriculum where parents and teens, in small groups with other parents and teens, meet each week to discuss life issues.
CROP Ministries is an incubator ministry under Priority Living, the umbrella organization of The Master's Program. CROP is a member of The Barnabas Group, and the founder of CROP is a Master's Program graduate.
Their BIG QUESTION is:
How can CROP identify and equip group leaders/facilitators to run the program in their own community, wherever in the world they are located?
