Townsquare Media & Grappone Automotive Group Announce Year of Service Partnership
Townsquare Media NH in conjunction with Grappone Automotive Group is now accepting applications for the 2017 Year of Service awards! The Year of Service program, in its 30th year, is a comprehensive on-air and digital program designed to make a significant contribution to New Hampshire non-profit organizations. New Exhibit Opening at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire
THINK it...then create it!
FREE opening Thursday, January 12, 4-6 pm
You're invited to the opening and ribbon cutting of the museum's redesigned Thinkering Lab! Museum admission is FREE for all from 4-6pm during the opening of this new exhibit space. Using Imagination Playground pieces, kids can shape their environment with blocks, gears, ramps and more.  These modular, rectilinear parts are easy to stack, line up and move around. The exhibit opening will be FREE for all and no reservation is necessary. The entire museum will be open, and the opening reception of Unconventional Materials in Gallery 6 will be happening at the same time. The museum thanks Fidelity Investments' UNIQUE College Investing Plan for sponsoring this new exhibit space. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 4-4:15 with the Dover Chamber and Dover Mayor, Karen Weston. Light refreshments will be served. Rochester Opera House presents FOOD FIGHT: Inside the Battle for Market Basket

Throughout the summer of 2014, a corporate food fight played out in dozens of communities impacting tens of thousands of workers and the economies of three states. When the faction of the Market Basket board headed by Arthur S. Demoulas fired his cousin and arch-rival Arthur T. Demoulas as long-time CEO of the successful supermarket chain, it set off a firestorm that sparked one of most unique corporate dramas in American history. It's what the New York Times called "the last stand for the middle class." Tickets $7. Registration for winter semester adult high school classes at Dover Adult Learning Center is open (classes begin in February).
