Family Science (STEM) Night 1/26 6.30pm
Happy New Year Tulita families!

We hope you all enjoyed spending time with your families over the holidays and are ready to start 2017!

As we begin the second half of our school year we look forward to commencing our Science program this month with a new family STEM night. There are fun hands-on activities for students which require many volunteers to make it a successful event, so please sign up to volunteer if you can. (See more details below)

We want to also encourage you to attend the first PTA meeting of the year on Friday 1/6 8.20am. We will summarize and approve budget adjustments for the second half of the year, review spending procedures, approve our Nominating Committee for the 2017 PTA Election and update you on programs for the rest of the school year.  We are also excited to introduce a new feature at our PTA meetings, a  hands on art show case, this month featuring TK's masterpieces.

Have a great first week back!

Emma Macleod, President, Tulita PTA.

THANK YOU!

Tulita PTA would like to thank all the generous families that were able to contribute to our 5 Project Unified families this holiday season.

The gifts were delivered to the RBUSD Administrative building where they became part of 55 other families that our school district was able to assist this season. These families include foster children, grandparents caring for their grandchildren and families that are experiencing difficulties.

Once again, we are grateful for your help and touched that our school played such a positive role in our amazing beach community.

A big shout out to our chair Melissa Luis for coordinating such an awesome program.

Hayley Salus - VP of Programs

Pages Book Fair was a huge success! Thank you once again to all the volunteers that helped during the fair and to our chairs Mandy Hughes, Kara Camiolo and Scott Hughes for successfully coordinating the event last week.

Holiday Spirit Sticks were popular among students before the holiday break. About 200 sticks were sold! Thanks to Melissa DeChandt and all volunteers who helped sell them before and after school. Special Thanks to Dr. Bruna for delivering them to the classrooms.
