The Lord’s loving-kindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

January 1, 2017

Dear Prince Families:

We hope this Christmas break afforded you the opportunity to celebrate our Savior’s birth with family and loved ones while enjoying a respite from our too often hectic schedules. As we begin second semester, we are excited about continuing to share our Christ centered values in a physically, emotionally, and intellectually secure environment as we strive to be a school where students are encouraged to tackle new content, take risks, offer opinions, collaborate with classmates, overcome challenges, and make mistakes within the safe harbor of our campus. As a school community, we will continue our endeavor to be a place where students and adults work collectively for God’s glory as we prepare young minds for the rigors of college life. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back for their first full day of school this Wednesday; Happy New Year!

Warm regards and in His service,

Col Hathaway,
Head of School

Prince Family,

I hope that your Christmas break has been as amazing and restful as possible! Before the break, our leadership team began to plan and map out what 2017 should look like in terms of the spiritual culture of PACS. We can think of no better way to begin the second half of our school year than to set an environment for an intensified spiritual focus for our students and faculty members as we return. For this reason, on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of our return from the break, we will be plunging into a time of spiritual emphasis. On each of those days, our middle and high Schools will be running modified chapel schedules. We are thrilled about hosting Pastor Mark McAndrew of North Avenue Church in Athens for those three days and are so incredibly expectant of all that God will be doing in the lives of our students and faculty members during this time.

Dress code for these days will be the same as any other Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday...Wednesday (Chapel Attire), Thursday (normal PACS school uniforms), and Friday (normal PACS spirit attire).

As we come to the end of our break, enjoy the next few days, but also please join us in praying in advance for all that God has in store for each of us throughout 2017.

Ben Wallis
Director of Spiritual Life
