PLAN Jeffco's 45th Anniversary Picnic

Tuesday, August 29, 4:00-8:00 pm, Lookout Mountain Nature Center and Preserve, 910 Colorow Rd, Golden, CO 80401

This FREE event will be open to the public and will include several guided hikes, as well as the opportunity to pack your own picnic or purchase a delicious meal from several food trucks (including BBQ and vegetarian cuisine, and ice cream!). Advance registration is encouraged.

Toby's Pet Parade & Fair

Foothills Animal Shelter is hosting the 2nd Annual Toby's Pet Parade & Fair. Animal lovers and their dogs in costumes will walk in a parade on Washington Avenue in Golden. They will compete for prizes in categories like "Doggie Diva," "Best Group," "Most Original" and more. Following the parade will be a fair with food trucks, a beer garden, dog flyball demonstrations, face painting, family-friendly games and vendor booths. Click here for more info and to register.
