Hazardous household waste poses a threat to public health and our environment. Proper disposal of hazardous materials including electronics, auto fluids, batteries and many other chemicals is key to protecting our communities, reducing illegal dumping and keeping our living spaces safe.
RecycleMore, Republic Services, West County Resource Recovery and Contra Costa County are sponsoring a free hazardous waste collection event in El Sobrante on Saturday, August 26.
This disposal is for communities served by Republic Services or East Bay Sanitary.
