Fellowship Banquet to Feature The Second City

The event will be hosted by The Second City, an improvisational comedy enterprise. Guests will enjoy buffet stations featuring "Best of Chicago" menu options from three distinct Chicago neighborhoods. There is no longer a black tie optional dress code requirement, so dress as you'd like! Tickets are just $25 per person. Blood Drive at Academy 2017 Chicago

Join us on Friday, October 13 for the Friday the 13th Vein Drain to benefit the Red Cross. Appointments can be made for between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The blood drive will take place in E256, Lakeside Center. Walk ups are also welcome!

The Alcon Foundation Cycle for Sight 20/20 Challenge
At Academy 2017 Chicago, the Alcon Foundation and the AAOF will once again co-host the Cycle for Sight 20/20 Challenge. Academy attendees can participate by stopping by booth #631 to ride a stationary bike to help reach the cumulative goal of 2,020 minutes of riding. When the goal is reached, the Alcon Foundation will make a $25,000 donation to the AAOF to fund optometric education and research. The support of the Alcon Foundation has, and will continue to have, far-reaching impact on the optometric profession and patient care.
