Parents of Fall athletes should have already completed these forms with sports registration. For more information, please visit our health office website, click here.
All freshmen must submit a physical to the health office prior to the opening of school; physical must be dated within one year of entry to high school.
Food Services
Beginning this school year, cash will no longer be accepted.  In order to purchase food in the cafeterias, you will be required to have an account with MySchoolBucks. The MySchoolBucks website provides parents a convenient, easy and secure way to deposit money into your child’s school meal account at any time. Please click here to link to the MySchoolBucks site to open an account.

Also new this year is XPRESS pre-ordering from the cafeteria. Students or staff members can submit an order and select a time to pick-up their meal from the cafeteria.

More information including menus, pre-payment options, xpress ordering, and nutritional information can be found by visiting the school website under the "Services" tab to "Food Services" or by clicking here.
Attendance Policy
Information on the district's attendance policy, including excused vs. unexcused absences can be viewed on the Attendance website, click here.

Student Activities
At North Hunterdon, we believe that all youngsters should be involved in extra-curricular activities. These activities may include athletic teams, clubs, publications, performing arts, government & leadership and community service. Students who become involved in extra-curricular programs will have a more rewarding and fun-filled high school career. Please click here for the Principal's Activities letter.

Students are expected to maintain good academic standing, including attendance and discipline, in order to be eligible to participate in extracurricular programs. Click on this  link to access our drug testing policy in regards to participation in clubs. For a listing of clubs and activities offered,  click here .
Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying
Harassment, intimidation and bullying are illegal and are not tolerated at North Hunterdon High School. We are a community at North, and we expect our students to treat their classmates the way they would like to be treated. Respect for fellow students, faculty members, and the community at large is the expectation we have of our students. Any behavior in contrast to this philosophy is not acceptable, and those who intimidate, bully and/or harass others face stringent disciplinary and legal consequences. To view the NHV policy #5512 regarding harassment, intimidation, and bullying, please  click here. To report an incident, please  click here
Safe Homes
North Hunterdon High School will once again partner with Safe Communities Coalition and participate in the SAFE HOMES PROGRAM. This potentially life saving program is a national initiative which seeks pledges from local families who agree to host only supervised, drug and alcohol-free gatherings for teens in their homes.

Please click here for the principal's letter and pledge form which should be either mailed or faxed to the school. Our fax number is (908) 735-6447.
Back to School Nights
Back to School Nights will be held on Thursday, August 31st for last names A-K and on Wednesday, September 6th for last names L-Z.
Both programs will begin in the main gym at 6:30 pm. Please print a copy of your student's schedule to bring with you. We will be following blocks 1-8. This will allow you to meet with all of your child's teachers.

Project Acceleration
North Hunterdon is pleased to announce that we are continuing to offer courses in association with Seton Hall University’s Project Acceleration. Course offerings this year have been expanded to include AP Computer Science. Registration will begin on September 5 and will close on October 6. Students will receive information in their Project Acceleration approved AP/Honors classes concerning registration and tuition. Please keep in mind that not all Honors and AP classes are approved Project Acceleration courses.

Project Acceleration courses are open to high school juniors and seniors in good academic standing who are capable of performing Advanced Placement (AP) or Honors coursework. Only sophomores who receive prior permission are permitted to enroll in Project Acceleration.

Further information concerning this program is available at the following website: http://www.shu.edu/academics/artsci/project-acceleration /. Any additional questions on this program can be directed to Mrs. Carol Skidmore at 908-713-4126 or cskidmore@nhvweb.net

Secure Belongings
Most students who have lost items in school did not lock up their belongings. Do not bring expensive items to school. DO NOT SHARE LOCKERS. If your locker is not working properly, see Mr. John Deutsch, Assistant Principal/Athletic Director, for help. If your child does lose something during the school year, please have him/her look in Lost & Found, located in the attendance office.
Contacting Administration
Periodically parents ask, "Who should I contact if an issue exists that affects my child?" Our advice is to begin with the teacher, coach, or advisor who is closest to the issue. Faculty and staff email addresses can be found on the staff directory. This step should always be taken prior to using other options.    Click here to look up your student's guidance counselor. If however, you believe that a satisfactory response has not been rendered, click here for a list of administrators.
Athletics Department Wins Award
The NH Athletics Department recently was awarded the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAA), "Exemplary Quality Athletic Program" Award for 2016-2017. NH won the "State Athletic Program of Excellence" award in 2015-2016 but this year was recognized at the national level. Currently, 25 schools have won the NIAAA National Quality Program Award since its inception, and North Hunterdon is the first NJ High School to receive this honor! This is the most prestigious award an athletic department can be awarded in the United States. The North Hunterdon Athletic Department will receive the award at the 48th National Athletic Directors Conference and the NIAAA Annual Meeting to be held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ in December.
