January Outreach
Two things you can count on this time of year - we're going to have some really cold days, and the supply of available blood in the area is going to be low. So, our Outreach this month is a collection of coats and hats and warm items for Austin Street Center, and a Blood Drive through Carter Blood Care.
Leave your hats and coats and gloves and warm socks at the back of the church, and we'll make sure they get to Austin Street. Any size, new or gently worn is great! They can use men's, women's and children's items.
The Blood Drive is schedule for Sunday, January 29

, and the mobile unit will be here from 8:00 to 1:00. Sign up sheets will be in the back of the church. They are reeeeeally low right now, so please consider this life-giving donation.
Irving Cares - Most needed items: canned fruit, canned meat (chicken, tuna), canned meals (chili, stew, soup), toilet paper, deodorant, shampoo (travel or full sizes), powdered laundry soap.

Gospel of Matthew Study: Sunday 9:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
Both at 9:15 a.m. and at 11:45 a.m., Canon Heard invites you to join in exploring the Gospel of Matthew for the season of Epiphany.
She will teach this class twice Sunday, to allow people who attend the later service or work between the services to prepare hospitality or worship to participate. The class will be last for 30-35 minutes. Please come, read, learn and get to know Matthew more deeply. Bring a Bible!
