"Sticky Faith"... "Practicing Passion"... and more

Renowned teacher and author on youth and faith formation, Dr. Kenda Creasy Dean, will speak at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dayton, on Sunday, January 15 at 6:00 p.m.  The event, co-sponsored by Presbytery of the Miami Valley and Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dayton, is a part of a series bringing top theologians to the presbytery.

Kenda's family heritage stretches through a line of Ohio farmers and Kentucky coal miners.  She and her sister grew up primarily as the other P.K.s ("politician's kids"), thanks to their dad's career in the Ohio legislature.  Outside of the election cycle, her mom and dad were educators (her dad was a high school government teacher and debate coach, and her mom taught third grade).

A graduate of Miami University, Dr. Dean is an ordained United Methodist pastor in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference and Mary D. Synnott Professor of Youth, Church and Culture at Princeton Theological Seminary.

You are welcome to join members of the OPC family for this evening with Dr. Dean.  Please contact Pastor Lawrence or Lynn Cronk, chair of Christian Education, for more information.
