New Year...New Beginnings
Isn't it amazing that with the flip of the calendar, we are given permission to start over again, to look at what worked and what didn't work, and implement changes for our highest good?
One problem with this is we don't always know what is for our highest good, or we can't see that change is possible just because time has taken us into a new year.
So much happened in everyone's lives in 2016, a year of endings, for sure. Some are still reeling in the energy of it, and haven't quite found the light at the end of the tunnel. Today, I invite you to look at your life differently. Close your eyes and imagine what it would be like to have peace, abundance, harmony, and love in your life. Feel it in your heart. What does it feel like? Really allow your mind and heart to become one and bring in the incredible energy of this.
Our hearts are our connection to the Universe, to all that is around us. When we can feel it in our hearts, we can bring it into our lives.
Some of the things that prevent us from bringing in what is for our highest good are:
Fear -- "What if I ask for the wrong thing?" When I ask for anything from the Universe, I always add "for my highest good" at the end. I know that I will always receive what is best for me.
Lack of forgiveness -- you must forgive others and yourself. Holding onto that energy of un-forgiveness only holds you back from receiving.
Feeling Unworthy -- Our upbringings or high standards for ourselves can prevent us from bringing in the abundance we deserve. Of course you are worthy of all of the wonderful things this planet has to offer! You are a pure soul, regardless of your actions or feelings. Remember that!
Critical Thinking -- "There's no way I can create what I want in my life. Who do I think I am?" Our critical thinker is great in so many ways...keeping us out of dangerous situations and helping us be rational. Creating abundance and joy in our lives is not rational. There's baggage attached to it from our childhood, not to mention our own limitations we have accepted as our truth. We must quiet that critical thinker so we can bring in everything we want in our lives.
Meditation is a great way to work with all of these! We live in a wonderful, technological age where we can find free meditations online to assist us with anything you can imagine. Simply search for the area on which you want to work, i.e., "forgiveness meditations," and find what works best for you. Listen to all of the meditation before you do your meditation to make sure it resonates with you from start to finish. It is very important for you to connect with the meditation for the maximum benefit.
If live in Northern Colorado, I am teaching an Intention Collage Workshop at the end of January where we will also be working on setting intentions for the year. It includes a meditation and all the materials to create a collage of what you see for yourself in 2017. Information is below. Hope you can join us!
If you do not live in the area, there are great online resources to create these collages. Search "New Year Intention Collage" or "New Year Vision Board" and use your intuition to find the best resource.
The point is we are co-creators here. We do have a say on where we are, how we get there, and taking the path of least resistance. Yes, there are other factors that can impede our progress, but the most important piece to this is KNOWING you are a powerful soul AND can make changes to your life just by asking for them.

2017 New Year Intention Collage Workshop
One of the best ways to bring what you want in your life is to envision it. When you have something tangible on which to focus, you make it easier for your mind to accept it, and for the Universe to bring it.
Vision boards and collages are excellent ways to manifest what you want to bring into your life, and there is no better time to do this at the beginning of the year! In this workshop, we will create Intention Collages to help us get clear about what we are asking the Universe to bring to us. This workshop includes a guided meditation and all materials to create your collage.

Mediumship Classes
