The Together-Equitable-Accessible-Meaningful (TEAM) education program aims to improve the productivity of patient-provider interactions to promote equitable, accessible and patient-centered care that results in better health outcomes for those impacted by cancer. Health care organizations that provide cancer-related services are encouraged to apply to this training, which includes an online course, a two-day workshop and technical assistance in creating a quality improvement plan. To learn more and apply, please visit

We are also recruiting diverse cancer patients/survivors to share their stories through focus groups and interviews about their cancer care experience. What cancer survivors tell us during these sessions will help us understand more about patients' communication and shared decision-making with their care team.
