A million candles burning for HOPE in 2017
Greetings in the season of holidays and a New Year~

A few months have past since the last newsletter from Dedicated to Make a Change. Here is an overview of our past activities.  To learn more details of each, check out  our website.
In September, we distributed 21 backpacks to middle and high school students living in Ypsilanti.
Do you know of a teen needing a backpack or a refill of school supplies? Send them our way~ 734 358 1402

Many of you supported the DTMAC youth entrepreneurs at the Ypsilanti Farmer's Market for 5 weeks this summer. Thank you!
When school started we moved to Saturdays to sell our handmade jewelry and crafts.
The end of November, we had a table at the Holiday Shoppe & Cafe at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church.
If you are in want of beautiful items, we still have many pieces available.

EDUCATE YOUTH 501c3
our new nonprofit

2017 brings new exciting changes~

EDUCATE YOUTH 501c3 is our new nonprofit arm. The goal of Educate Youth is to expand our 100% academic success rate for the teen living in Ypsilanti city and township.
Educate Teens has the primary focus on youth success. We define success by earning a high school diploma and having a plan for their next five years.
We use a wrap around approach to give the support, encouragement, hope, and engagement into academics and the community.
