RAISING THE ROOF FOR CHARITY
Tickets for the 2017 Raising the Roof for Charity Home are now available for purchase! Tickets are $100 and only 7,500 will be sold. This year's home, built by Jules Guidry of Highland Homes, is located in beautiful Money Hill in Abita Springs. Proceeds will benefit these charities: Giving Hope Retreat - New Orleans Mission, St. Tammany Hospital Foundation, and Miracle League Northshore. We appreciate the generosity of our sponsors.

TANGIPAHOA: NEW BUILDING OFFICIAL
Tangipahoa Parish has a new building official who will be in charge of permitting, code enforcement and inspections. Jimmy Pecoraro will start as the parish building official in early January. He is replacing Andy Currier, who was earlier promoted to Public Works Director. NHBA CHRISTMAS PARTY
December 2nd, 2016 -  The NHBA celebrated Christmas at Benedict's Plantation. Our members enjoyed live music by Casey and the Bean Stalks, premium open bar, and delicious food!
NOTHING BUT NETWORKING
December 8th, 2016  - NHBA members gathered for a casual get together after hours with no rules and no agenda for Nothing But Networking at the Dakota. Unwrapped toys were donated for the holidays.
CONTINUING EDUCATION - PROTECTING YOUR BUSINESS
December 14th, 2016  - A six (6) hour Continuing Education "Protecting Your Home Building Business" class was taught by Mike LeCorgne and Helmut Mundt at the NHBA office for builders to meet yearly state criteria.
NHBA HALL OF FAME
Doreen "Dodie" Adams and Nick Castjohn were inducted into the NHBA Hall of Fame at the Installation Banquet in October. Congratulations!
