Early in 2016 the heads and senior leaders of the communions/organizations in CCT met for their annual gathering. For them this is a time to discuss pressing issues and topics relevant to the mission and ministry of the Church. At this meeting one topic immediately surfaced; the plight of the persecuted church.
These leaders were primarily concerned with the need for a more coordinated effort from the US churches in supporting the plight of the persecuted church. Encouraged by this conversation, the leadership of CCT decided to hold this forum.
The forum is an opportunity to address many of the questions and concerns expressed by these church leaders. As a national Christian leader, your presence is essential.
Primary goals of the Forum:
Where: First Presbyterian Church of Newark, 827 Broad St, NJ 07102
When: Thursday, March 2 (9 AM) to Friday March 3 (4 PM)
Who: National denominational staff and leaders serving in the area of global (world) ministries. Also, national denominational staff working on areas of social justice, ecumenism, and inter-faith. The event registration is only for residents of the U.S.A.
