Memorable Moments
Odell L. Brown ("King"),  Spring '72, Funky 18

My grandfather (my hero) died the Tuesday of Hell Week. So for me, that memorable moment was the following Saturday, May 21, 1972, when my Theta Delta Line Brothers were active pallbearers at the funeral of my grandfather. We had just crossed over that Friday night and it was remarkable for everyone to see young black men, dressed in black pants and purple shirts, carrying the body/casket of my grandfather.
