Happenings at the Resort...January 2017
Greetings from Port Ludlow - and a Very Happy New Year to you and yours...

This is a really interesting time of year in our community...the days are JUST starting to be longer - and suddenly, it feels so good to be out exploring.  We have a new trail that is really fun and a challenge all at the same time.  If you are staying with us, ask about it - we'll even take you on this hike.

We also heard from our locals that they wanted a "take out" option - so we are offering this from The Fireside.  As with all our promotions, if this is well received, we will continue.

And our Wednesday night specials continue to be popular - this month it is ALL ABOUT BURGERS - who doesn't want a good burger every now & then?

While you are with us, take a stroll through the first floor art show by local artists. The theme is "Shades of Red" and it is THE BEST art show installation to date (in my humble opinion.)
Are you in a Book Club?  If so, we have a recommendation for you to consider. Our Cellar Master, Julie Johnson, is also a published author ....and her book In   Another Life , is really worth your consideration.  It's available at the Inn (and other places that good books are sold) - and her second one will be out in September....We will celebrate with her by hosting a book signing in the fall....And in the meantime, hope you'll enjoy the diversity of our team.

P.S.  It is remarkable how many guests have a connection with Port Ludlow from a "historical" place...Below is a photo of one such piece of history...first one that responds with not only WHAT this is but a personal story or memory of their connection (or desired connection) wins an overnight stay.

What People Are Saying...
"We had a wonderful weekend, superb dinner and so enjoyed the cozy fireplace in our room. Fabulous!"

"My husband and I spent a night at the Resort in December and it was the most refreshing 24 hours of my life! We started with lunch at The Fireside, strolled the Beach Loop Trail and then relaxed in the huge bathtub. We were able to comfortably sit out on the balcony both during the day and at night, coming back inside to the fireplace in our room certainly helped!"

"We come each year for a rest after the holidays and to celebrate our anniversary. Port Ludlow holds decades of memories while raising children, as boaters and golfers. The Resort is another kudo to the Port Ludlow story. The rooms are spacious, offering each a lovely view, with fireplace, jetted tub, and comfortable bed. The restaurant offers enticing dishes. The grounds and trails are perfect for walks. So pleased this continues to maintain its high quality."

"We had a beautiful room on the water that overlooked the entire bay. The staff was so warm and inviting. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant while we caught the end of the Hawks game. This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend for a quick drive from Seattle for a romantic getaway."
