BBBS Wins 1st Place in "Share the Care" Contest
"Starting on October 6, 2016 Webster Five launched a customer-centric philanthropic promotion called "Share the Care" as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting the needs of nonprofits within the community. Through this promotion, Webster Five invited customers and members of the community to nominate and vote for three local nonprofits for a chance to receive part of the $5,000 Web of Caring donation..." Challenge Yourself During National Mentoring Month
January is National Mentoring Month, a time to celebrate and spread the word about the importance of mentoring youth in-need. January is also a time for us to put our New Year's Resolutions into action. Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has challenged us to mobilize our supporters to use their resolutions for a good cause. Is your New Year's Resolution to get healthy and active in 2017? Set a goal and track your progress while raising money to support us by signing up for the Great Big Challenge!

Annual Holiday Party
The holidays got off to an early start as over 100 children and adults gathered at the Westborough High School Dec. 10 to enjoy our annual holiday party. Nearly 50 matches attended the event. Approximately 25 kids on our waitlist attended along with an equal number of adults who agreed to be "Bigs for the Day" so that each child would feel comfortable and welcomed. Click to read more...

Special Thanks to our Holiday Helpers
We were humbled by the overwhelming support we received from our community during the holiday season this year. Countless groups and individuals collected items to support families we serve. Special shout-out to our friends at
Holy Cross for collecting toys and games for us to use in our site-based programs. Another shout-out goes to
Cogmedix for collecting and delivering nearly 100 coats for us to distribute to families in need. Though they wish to remain anonymous, we are also thankful to those who adopted families and purchased Christmas gifts who made sure it was a memorable year for the children.
