WOMEN TALK is an evening gathering where women present and share their inspiring stories, thoughts, ideas and experiences. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and you’ll be entertained by amazing WOMEN TALKers! The evening will be fast-paced with each presenter speaking for 15-20 minutes, TED TALK style.  We are ordinary women, sharing extraordinary stories! Everyone's uniqueness is celebrated. It is a beautiful harmonious place where you can feel the unconditional love of the Divine Feminine.

Women Talk is a growing phenomenon that is expanding across Canada

Our Women Talk Monthly Events consist of:

  •  2 TALKers; each sharing a 15-20 minute TALK.
  • TALK of the month with our Founder
  • Inspiritional TALK from a Board Member
  • TALK from our sponsor
  • Followed by “girl time”
  • Food and drinks can be purchased from the menu
  • Your evening is woven together with a splash of humour, and inspiration thanks to our MC, Sam Bell and Director, Michele Noordhof.

Tickets are $17 (when purchased online), or $25 at the door. Bring a friend or two for a memorable girl’s night out!  Together we are building a community of strong women who support each other - and we're thrilled for you to be part of it!

Heather Colberg
Imperfection is Not your Reflection

If Heather is one thing....it's busy.  For over 45 years of her life she lived and breathed the transportation industry. Her parents started Hi-Way 9 Express with one truck in 1969 and grew it into the largest privately owned transportation company until the time of sale in 2011. Heather oversaw the administration of 4 divisions until 2013 at which time she retired. She went on to own a blind & drapery company which she grew across South Central Alberta, with a team of 6 lovely ladies that promoted all the options in todays window covering business.

Most of Heather's life has been, in one facet or another, involved in volunteering. She was instrumental in organizing a one night blitz for the Salvation Army Food Drive which continued for over 10 years, as well as "Stuff the Bus" for less fortunate children to be readied for school. Heather was honoured to be recognized as 'Citizen of the Year' in 2010, and is now embarking to serve her community at a higher calling as she enters the candidate ring to run as 'Mayor of Drumheller' this fall.  Heather says; "I am just grateful for all the wonderful things I have been blessed with in life and my goal is just to make a difference every day".  Along with her daughter Madison, Heather has now launched  HCM Lifestyle (dot) com ; a website where everyday people can share Inspiring Stories, Ideas and Tips.  Heather believes this is a way we can all have the ability to learn from each other.

Michele Noordhof
Rewriting My Story

Michele Noordhof was only five when she first stepped onto a stage. As she stood there, front and centre, she felt a sense of 'being where she was meant to be'. Inspired by her first taste of the stage, Michele had many roles as an actor over the years,  and acting also became who she was, in her everyday life, as she presented a mask to the world while hiding intense emotional pain and the longing to end it all.

In 2014, after an incident that crushed her, she vowed never to get on the stage again,  but Michele has returned to the stage, albeit not in the role of a character from a play, but as herself, stepping away from the mask she has worn for so long. She now understands that first moment on the stage and her true calling. Through writing and motivational speaking, Michele shares her heart as she walks her new path, rewriting her life story.  Michele has a true passion for helping other women find their new paths, in her role as Director of Women Talk Okotoks.
