2017 Maintenance Workshop

12 East Franklin Street, Richmond

Registration and coffee will take place from 9:00 to 9:30. The morning program will begin at 9:45 and will feature two garden experts. Peggy Cornett, Curator of Plants at Monticello, will speak about seed saving and its benefits for historic landscapes. Our second speaker, Brittany Council, from The Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program in Richmond, will speak on Turfgrass Management. Lunch will be provided. The afternoon program includes a talk from Will Rieley of Rieley and Associates who serves as the GCV Landscape Architect, and a new program about the GCV Restoration Sites in Virginia and working with your GCV Liaison. The Restoration Committee welcomes you as our guest for this event.

Parking Information:
There are two surface lots behind KVH on Grace Street between 1st and Foushee. Cost is $5 per day at this time. Have dollar bills or credit card. You may pay with your phone. City parking patrol is vigilant.
