WEEKLY SHOUT OUT

Lea Anne Jasper's Graphic Design 3 and Advanced Graphic Design students pa rticipated in a Call for Artists through the University of Minnesota's Law School Center for New Americans this term.

The classes designed artwork for buttons to convey that the wearer is an ally for immigrants. Frank Fetrow, a junior, had his artwork chosen for mass production and distribution by the Center. A post of this story is posted on their Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/MNCenterforNewAmericans/ .

The University of Minnesota Law School's Center for New Americans expands urgently needed legal services for non-citizens, pursues litigation to improve our nation's immigration laws, and supports non-citizens in the region through education and community outreach. Designed in partnership with leading area law firms and non-profit immigration legal services, the Center is the only program of its kind in the U.S.
