HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The drought that has been plaguing us in Northern California for years has finally broken. Our streams, ponds, and wells are filling up, and the plants are absorbing all that they can hold. Along with the rain has also come the cold, and we have had a few more nights of frost than usual, and deeper freezes than some of the succulents were prepared for. The church is housing the Begonias. The big old Jade Tree is in the kitchen. Out on the ET&WNC Railroad layout, there's havoc to pay ... and pay we will, come Spring.
This is the month our new President will be sworn in, and, truth to tell, i feel a little bit like swearing myself. It'll pass ("like gas," as the old folks used to say) and before we know it, we'll have something else to worry about. So let us be of good cheer as we raise a toast to the New Year, however uncertain it seems.

Hello, rootworkers! Whatever the traditions you celebrate, Kwanza or Christmas, Solstice or Hanukkah, and for those who choose to celebrate no particular holiday at all, I hope that you are finding the love, comfort, and nourishment that you need. This year saw the loss of many culture icons, and while there are no "ancestral pots" in hoodoo and compiling a complete list would be an impossible task, I wanted to take a moment to collectively honour their passing.

The Influence Product Line

Last month we featured a classic Break Up bottle spell as your free spell to use at home, and this month we're offering a dressed letter spell for Reconciliation. Both of these spells involve directly influencing the thoughts, feelings, and attitudes of a third (and sometimes fourth or fifth) party. While these spells work just fine on their own, they can be boosted by complementing them with spellwork using our
Influence product line.
Influence belongs to the same family as
Essence of Bend-Over,
Domination, and
Do As I Say, but by far is the gentlest, subtlest, and least coercive of the bunch.
