State of the Hill 2017 is February 8th!

Let's celebrate the past year with Chamber members, local Capitol Hill businesses, and neighbors! Come meet other small business owners and hear a recap of the year and what's to come.  We'll have a sampling of small bites by local restaurants, Moscow Mules by Rachel's Ginger Beer, and a selection of beers on tap by our host Optimism Brewing Co.!   Guests will enjoy fun activities and have a chance to win great prizes donated by Ada's Technical Books & Cafe, Capitol Hill Farmers Market, Cone & Steiner General, Elliott Bay Book Company, Goodwill Capitol Hill, Hunters Capital, Jubilee Women's Center, LifeLong Thrift, Rocket Fizz, Silver Cloud/Jimmy's on Broadway, Swedish Medical Center and other local Capitol Hill businesses!  

Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets and include two drink tickets: 
$35 Chamber members/$45 Non-Members


We'll also present the Spirit Award  to an individual, organization or business that has shown an outstanding commitment to the Capitol Hill community in 2016. Chamber members are encouraged to submit nominations!  Email your nomination to office@caphilllchamber.org by January 22nd.

Chamber Coffee Chat - New Member Benefits

The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce is hosting our first coffee chat of the year at Starbucks  on E Olive Way and we'd love to have you join us!

The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce invite you to join Seattle City Councilmembers for a special happy hour event on Tuesday, January 31. This networking program--co-hosted by more than 18 business organizations spanning the city--will include brief recognition of Councilmembers in attendance, as well as light hors d'oeuvres and host bar.   Chamber Members can register at the discounted member rate!

This is a great opportunity to meet your Seattle City Councilmembers in a relaxed, informal environment, connect with business leaders from diverse industries, and toast to a new year from Perkins Coie's beautiful office space in downtown Seattle.

As a Chamber member  located in Capitol Hill, we wanted to let you know about a small roundtable discussion we are planning with Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant,  co-hosted by the Capitol Hill Chamber of CommerceGreater Seattle Business Association and Seattle Metropolitan Chamber and sponsored by Recology.  This is a great chance to speak directly with your Councilmember, hear about upcoming policies, and discuss community business issues. 

There is no cost to participate, but space is limited.

Open House - Pike Pine Renaissance: Act One

Exciting changes are coming to Pike and Pine in downtown Seattle!
As part of the Waterfront Seattle program, the  Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) and the City of Seattle are leading the design and construction of  Pike Pine Renaissance: Act One. The first phase (Act One) of this multi-year effort will improve the pedestrian experience along Pike and Pine in downtown Seattle and strengthen the connection from the waterfront to Pike Place Market and Capitol Hill.  Click here to learn more about Pike Pine Renaissance: Act One, and join us at our open house to help shape the future of Pike and Pine.
