It's time to celebrate  Mt. Bethel Elementary's 40th Birthday! 

THURSDAY,  August 24th 6-8 PM

Buccaneers and their families are invited to celebrate our favorite elementary school with lots of family fun (siblings welcome).  Attendees can enjoy for free:
  • laser tag
  • colored hair spray
  • video games in an air conditioned truck
  • face painting
  • balloons
  • padded sword fighting provided by Marietta Martial Arts
  • obstacle course provided by Peachtree Gymnastics
  • a fun DJ and MUCH MORE!  

There will be food available for purchase by Jamba Juice, Pero's Pizza, KO Sno Balls and Chick-fil-A.  

 

First 300 guests will receive a free cupcake!

WE HAVE CHANGED THE DATE FOR TPV TRAINING TO AUGUST 23 @ 1PM BECAUSE OF THE ECLIPSE.  

On August 23rd @ 1:00 pm, we will offer our second training of the year for parents to become TRAINED PARENT VOLUNTEERS (TPV's)!  TPV's provide two hours of release time so our teachers can work with curriculum experts to fine-tune their craft, analyze data to prepare differentiated lessons, and plan curriculum. 

TPV's make a tremendous difference in our ability to provide continual and job-embedded professional learning opportunities for our staff - and are a major factor in designation as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence

  • 45 MINUTE DELAYED DISMISSAL.  Carpool starts at 3PM.  The administration will send a Blackboard message when buses leave campus. 
  • STUDENT CONSIDERED PRESENT IF AT SCHOOL UNTIL 11:15AM.  
  • IF CHECKING OUT EARLY, PLEASE HAVE ID READY. NO CHECKOUTS AFTER 1:30 PM.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  
  • EXCUSED ABSENCE IF FOLLOWED BY PARENT NOTE.
