I won’t give away the ending of the new Star Wars Movie, “Rogue One.” Just suffice it to say that future sequels won’t be featuring all of the ensemble cast. I can say that Princess Leia looked beautifully CGI’d and stirred up a few… feelings from my teenage fandom days. RIP Carrie Fisher.

After much blaster blasting and epic starship crackups (my favorite of the rebel ships was the “Hammerhead Corvette” that brings down one of the big bad dudes. Awesome.), one is left quietly sated...

Speaking of the future, technology will be the talk at the 2017 EMC+SIPI. One of our big themes is the Internet of Things, which is all about the ways our technological society will advance, connect, communicate and need EMC and good design.

If we don’t see you in DC this coming August, you can still avail yourself of the great cross-section of the technical program sitting wherever you imagine your own cockpit. That’s because of a NEW aspect of our 2017 EMC+SIPI Symposium—the “online” version—that will stream content right to you. Stay tuned for the offerings; we’re looking forward to serving that up.

Finally, in Carrie Fisher’s flash reprise in her iconic role, she states that the data she shares with R2D2 in the next installment represents ‘hope.’

We 'hope' to see you in Washington.
