Single Service on Sunday
Since Sunday falls on New Year’s Day, when many may be traveling or still hosting visitors, there will be only ONE service on Sunday, January 1. It will begin at 10:00 a.m.; there will be no Sunday School or Adult Ed classes, and no breakfast. Our normal Sunday schedule of two services, food, and classes will return on January 8.

Family Promise Week
Grace opens 2017 by springing into action at once, hosting Family Promise beginning on Sunday, January 1. We will be helping three families (4 adults and 6 children, ranging in age from 2 months to 16 years), and there are still a few volunteer slots to be filled – specifically, food is needed on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, and people to sleep over on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please contact Skeeter Makepeace ( [email protected]) if you can help.
Cards for St. Jude Hospital
Skeeter Makepeace will be collecting Christmas cards for St. Jude’s Hospital this Sunday (January 1). These can be new or “used;” – only the front part is sent. Look for the box in the Narthex!
De-Greening the Nave
After a Christmas made more wondrous by the beautiful decorations in the Nave courtesy of Jerry Draper and his army of wonder-workers, it’s nearly time for the Nave to do off its holiday finery and return to its normal attire. This transformation is scheduled for the morning of Monday, January 2, at 10:00 a.m., and anyone who is otherwise uncommitted is invited to come and lend a hand. Bring tarps!
Office Closures
Grace's offices will be closed on Monday, January 2, in observance of the New Year's holiday. The financial office will re-open on January 3; the clergy will be off on Tuesday, January 3, as well, and the Rector's office will not be staffed until Wednesday, January 4.
